John is chair of iDEAL Diabetes, trustee of C3 Collaborating for Health and ambassador of DiabetesUK. He cofounded Changing Health in 2014 and for whom he is now a strategic advisor as well as an investor. His is also chair Hilldon Health and IVFbabble.

He has served as vice president of the International Diabetes Federation and has been a trustee and vice chair of DiabetesUK. He has advised NHS England and Public Health England for many years, also servicing on the board of the Strategic Commissioning Development Unit.

Having built a number of consumer centred businesses across Europe, John turned his attention to addressing the unmet needs of people living with and at risk of chronic conditions. He chaired Platform Heath, whose global health data interoperability standard, H.860, was approved by the United Nations’ ITU in 2014.

He is a fellow of the ICAEW and attended Wharton Business School.
